Professional Bio

Brock Hazen is the President and founder of WholePoint Systems. Hazen has taken WholePoint Systems from a startup to a multimillion dollar company and has developed partnerships with companies ServiceNow, Splunk, Amazon, Microsoft, and more. His experience is is focused on next generation capabilities utilizing technology in the areas of IoT, AI/ML, AR/VR, and automation.

Why did you choose JMU?

I was Interested in getting a great business degree!

How did your degree from JMU lead you to where you are today?

JMU college of business helped me establish many of the key building blocks I have built my business on today. Many of the classes I took were focused on entrepreneurship and made you think for yourself and problem solve without much direction. Although not realizing it at the time, this type of instruction developed my skillset as a problem solver and prepared me for the real world.

What does working for the Federal Government community mean to you?

Having a company that supports the Federal Government is a very rewarding experience. I feel lucky to be in an industry that supports such critical missions that our country’s citizens rely on.
